Valawye

A very charming mess of sound is how I would describe "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing In the Shadow?" I still don't know what they were trying to do with the distorted guitars and the odd horns. But it's beautiful Rolling Stones' noise. The b-side, "Who's Driving My Plane" is even better. Indeed, "Plane" is one of their best blues. Recorded as if they were in a dungeon, the sloppy mix is one of the song's best qualities.
